Request that clinic send operative report and discharge summary directly to your US doctor. At home, schedule follow-up with your primary care doctor or relevant specialist 1–2 weeks post-op for wound check and general recovery assessment. Colombian clinic should schedule telemedicine follow-ups at 2 weeks, 6 weeks, and 3 months post-op (if needed). If complications arise, contact Colombian clinic first for guidance; they'll advise whether to see local ER or manage remotely. Most minor complications (mild infection, seroma) can be managed with US local care if Colombian clinic provides guidance.
