Surgery Abroad helps patients understand surgery in another country, from anesthesia to aftercare. We're adding partner hospitals and surgical centers.
Surgery Abroad publishes the Surgical Brief, a set of guides for patients considering surgery outside their home country. We cover the parts brochures skip: anesthesia, accreditation, complication plans and aftercare at home. When readers are ready, they ask us to connect them with a surgical team.
This article is for hospitals and surgical centers. We’re adding partners to our network, and here’s how it works, what we ask and how to apply.
Our readers care about safety first. They usually ask:
A team that answers these clearly, before any deposit, is the team our readers choose.
Each case goes to one clinic at a time. If your clinic can’t take it or doesn’t reply within one business day, it goes to another approved partner.
We give priority to hospitals and surgical centers that can document their safety basics: a qualified anesthesia provider, an accredited or government-licensed facility, a written complication and transfer plan, and a clear post-op follow-up schedule, including remote follow-up after the patient flies home.
What we don’t do: we don’t give medical advice, negotiate prices on your behalf or promise patients any outcome.
If we send you a case during our launch period, you pay nothing for it. That way you can judge the quality of our referrals before any commitment.
Later on, partnership will become a paid marketing service. You’ll see the terms in writing and decide whether to continue before any charge. Medical fees always stay between your clinic and the patient.
It takes about five minutes. When you submit, you’ll see our direct WhatsApp and email so you can keep the conversation going. We reply within two business days.

You do. Your clinic evaluates the patient, sets the price and collects payment directly. We’re never involved in the medical payment.
